Wintersday Hat Giver Questions - Guild Wars Forums

Hi:

Does anyone here know if the "2011 wintersday hat giver" will actually offer the hats from 2010(Halo,horn) for trade(125 cc shards)?

Wiki quot: "This collector only offers the latest hats. For example, in January 2011, he offered those from Wintersday 2010."

But I only saw the scarf and the hood on the menu.....

any ideas?

That wiki quote is correct and there is no reason to doubt it. The hat giver will only offer the most recent hats - once the event is over and the hat giver has moved on then there's no more possibility of getting those hats. Perhaps you're getting the years confused. It's January 2012 now but the most recent Wintersday is from 2011.

the hood and scarf are the new ones...you will only get ONE scarf...you then show it to the hat collector and all three will be available to be created by him.
the wiki may not have been updated correctly...he is offering the current hats

ohhh hahah yea i got the years mixed up......aw i thought they still offer the hats from last year....

i want the halo so much....

Not sure if it was a bug then, but I got all the 3 scarfs from the finale, but to the hat maker NPC I just had to show 1 and all 3 got available.

not a bug...you only need to show one for all three to show up at the hat guy....which is probably why the shard collector only gives out one scarf (instead of the three)...

Profession: Rt/	the hood and scarf are the new ones...you will only get ONE scarf...you then show it to the hat collector and all three will be available to be created by him. the wiki may not have been updated correctly...he is offering the current hats __________________ where is the 'all you can eat' cookie bar?
